Nice [ˈniːs] (French: Nice; Occitan: Niça; Greek: Νικαία, Nikaia) is the capital of the traditional province of the County of Nice, the largest city of the Côte d'Azur and the second largest city of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in France, on the Mediterranean Sea. It has 347 100 inhabitants and more than 500 000 in its urban area.
