Hi Martin, I noticed your message at CZ:Featured article. What Johan Forberg was referring to was that if you update what appears on the welcome page, the main article won't be updated unless you make an edit there too. I've looked over what happened with the Robert Burns article and the summary that appeared on the welcome page never got updated, so it appeared as Chubnum first put it up there [http://en.citizendium.org/wiki?title=CZ:Featured_article/Current&diff=next&oldid=100812585]. What you did was [http://en.citizendium.org/wiki?title=Robert_Burns&action=historysubmit&diff=100812629&oldid=100812573 update] the article itself, so the article still appears as you intended.
 
The important point is that if you want the article to reflect what appears on the welcome page, you need to copy and paste the edits. :This article as it stands is incomplete in ways that create radical imbalance.  The discussion of agriculture in Europe jumps from prehistory to the Middle Ages.  After the Origins section, the bulk of Asia is totally ignored, as is sub-Saharan Africa.  There is no mention of the 17th century developments in technique which made it possible (a) to over-winter cattle, so leading to a great increase in meat production, and (b) to feed very large numbers of people not engaged in agriculture themselves, without which the industrial revolution could not have happened.
