I live in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). After my graduation from secondary school, I got a bachelor's degree at the Maastricht School of Translation and Interpreting, after which I studied for some years at the Radboud University Nijmegen where I got a Master's degree.

I now work at home as a freelance translator, translating mainly technical texts from French and English into Dutch. In my spare time, I like to write in particular on the Internet about everything that has to do with linguistics. I am in particular fascinated by the language diversity all over the world. My interests also include literature, philosophy, physics, astronomy and biology.
