I have been a United States citizen and resident all my life.  I have B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering and have experience as an analytical chemist, nuclear plant engineer, and chemical engineer.  I'm a member of the English Wikipedia and have made numerous edits and have written a number of articles there, many of which covered the areas of chemistry and engineering, but I have also written or edited about other topics, such as real estate, chess, vehicles, and some ethnic topics.  I belong to several WikiProjects in the English Wikipedia including WikiProject Chemistry, Chemicals, Chemical and Bio Engineering, and Polymers.  I am a member of Wikipedias in several other languages as well.  I am also a member of WikiCommons where I have contributed a number of images, the English Wikibooks where I have written several chapters including diagrams, Wiktionary, and WikiNews.  I am also a member and administrator in the Engineering Wikia.
