My name is David E. Dalimonte. I am thirty-nine years old and live in Southeastern North Carolina. Many years ago, I earned a degree in United States History from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. I also attended graduate school at UNC-W but did not complete the program. Most of my research at school and since has focused on the history of popular culture - especially music, film and sports. I have conducted specialized studies on silent film, country music, children's literature, Audrey Hepburn, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Charles Dickens. My latest research has focused on the history of baseball, and I am currently writing a brief history of professional baseball in Kinston, North Carolina. I hope and intend to contribute to a wide range of topics.
