Why "Dr Gao" throughout? We won't be calling other doctors "Dr. so-and-so," presumably. :It seemed appropriate in the context of AIDS activism in China. Most AIDS activists are not doctors. Only in China would a doctor have to struggle in the way she has for recognition of the problem. - It seemed appropriate in the context of AIDS activism in China. Most AIDS activists are not doctors. Only in China would a doctor have to struggle in the way she has for recognition of the problem.
