The Surrey Guardian was a small fireboat operated on the Fraser River by the Surrey Fire Department, from 1968 to 1972.[1][2][3][4]
The vessel was not new, it had been launched as the Port Fraser, in 1963.[5] She was operated by the New Westminster Harbour Commission.
Surrey council discussed and rejected the idea of selling the vessel, in June of 1970.[6]
