Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth album by the Beatles, released on 1 June 1967. It reached #1 in the UK Albums Chart, Billboard 200, ARIA Charts, and many other countries. The album won the 1967 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine named #1 on their 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
