Cognition is described as the ability to recognize and take social perspective. This indicates the facility of an entity to recognize the first person (i.e., I, me, mine), the second person or second person plural (i.e., you, yours, you all), and the object of relationship that defines the first and second persons (i.e., it, s/he, they).
