Overview
Citizendium welcomes applications for editorship to personnel@citizendium.org. There are three tracks in which experts may apply:
- The Academic Track
- The Professional Track
- The Equivilency Track
Three Tracks to Editorship
Academic Track
Editors applying through the Academic Track must hold the qualifications typically needed for a tenure-track academic position in their field. Pinnacle is they must hold a terminal degree in their academic field e.g., history, sociology, physics. This may demonstrated by:
- Sending a brief introductory letter, an attached or linked CV, and copies of academic transcripts.
- Sending a brief introductory letter and an attached or linked CV that includes links to reliable third-party sources that support claims.
Applicants must provide adequate evidence of claims. Official transcripts may be requested.
Professional Track
Editors applying through the Professional Track must hold a terminal professional degree in their field (e.g., engineering, performing arts, computers) and have a demonstrable record of significant work and at least some publishing experience.
