Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949) is an American musician and songwriter. He is the leader of the E Street Band.
One of his most famous songs is "Born in the U.S.A.", about an unemployed Vietnam veteran, which Ronald Reagan used as campaign theme music until Springsteen required him to stop.[1] In March 2010, Glenn Beck, however, labeled the song anti-American.
