Barry Lamar Bonds (born July 24 1964) is a well-known Major League Baseball player. He has played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Francisco Giants, and in 2007 became a free agent. Bonds broke Hank Aaron's record of 755 home runs on August 7, 2007. His career has been controversial because of allegations of steroid use.

On November 15, 2007, Bonds was indicted on four counts of perjury and one charge of obstruction of justice.
