Ely is a city in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. It has a population of 15,102, making it the second least populated UK city.

Geography

It stands on the west bank of the River Ouse. It is situated 15 miles north-east of Cambridge.

Transport

The A10 passes through the city.
