Dionysos [r]: From Greek mythology, (Roman name: Bacchus) he was the god of wine, intoxication, frenzy, and drama. A festival was held in his honor every year in Athens. He was the son of Zeus and the mortal woman Semele, but he was born from the thigh of Zeus (Semele saw the real Zeus and was instantly incinerated, according to legend.) [e]
