I have studied history in Bochum and Berlin (Germany), finished with a Master's degree. My focus was on intellectual history and social history: My bachelor's thesis dealt with the protest of workers in the 19th century, my master's thesis with religious socialists in early 20th century Germany. However, I'm currently working on software for scientific computing. And I'm very much into popular music.
