Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and has completed some graduate course work at The University of North Florida.

Jim works in the Human Resources field and owns a bakery in Jacksonville, Florida. Jim enjoys web page design and development, he uses Linux, Solaris, and OS X but not Windows. His first computer was a TRS 80 from Radio Shack. He has been using the Internet since first logging on to The Well in 1988. He loves The Grateful Dead and lives on the St Johns River.
