My primary area of intrest is into the role of glial progenitors and their potential role as stem cells. I also have an intrest in their ability as a therapeutic source in a number of animal models of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzhiemers and models of perinatal white matter damage. I also have an interest in the role of Human mesenchymal stem cells and whether they have a potential to be used as a therapeutic agent in diseases such as multiple sclerosis. I have a BSc (Hons) from University of Surrey and PhD from University of London.
