Hi Hayford,

Hydrogen is sometimes placed at the top of the Halogen group on periodic tables in addition to or instead of at the top of the Alkali Metals group. I'm not really sure of all the details either but, there it is...--David Yamakuchi 20:17, 11 June 2008 (CDT)
