I was born in Litin, Ukraine in 1980. I came with my family to the United States in 1990. In 1999, I started Texas A&M University, graduating in 2003 with a BS in economics and political science. In 2004, I received a Masters degree in Management of Information Systems. I am fluent in Russian, some Spanish and French, and a half dozen programming languages.

I am currently employed as an application developer and IT consultant in Dallas TX. I enjoy debating philosophy, politics, economics, and technology with anyone who cares to offer me a rational argument. I run a number of community websites. I have a strong interest in technology; especially the potential for information systems to improve human life. I occasionally publish articles on politics and technology on various sites. Other technology interests include blogging, .Net, the semantic web, and content management systems. I enjoy reading, cycling, skiing, hiking, digital photography, flight simulators, and good movies.
