The CME Group is one of the world's largest options exchanges and the largest futures exchange in the world.[1] The company is based in Chicago, Illinois, it was formed on July 12, 2007 from the merger of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
