The FA Premier League is a professional football league in England which is organised by the Football Association (the FA) and is the top tier of the country's football league pyramid system. It currently (2019) consists of twenty clubs. At the end of each season, the top four teams qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League and the bottom three teams are relegated to the Football League Championship (second tier) to be replaced by three promoted teams.
