I am Lando Leonhardt Lehmann, living in Germany. Alzey, the city I live in, was occupied and part of the Roman empire. The schools my kids attended are built next to the ruins of Roman soldiers' barracks; about 2000 years old! The small castle in the same street we live in is about 1200 years old; destroyed by French soldiers and others a few times and rebuilt again. A fascinating little city for someone like me who was born and raised in Africa.
