I come from Estonia and I am not a native speaker of English. Since 2006, I'm a student at the University of Tartu, majoring in English; I will obtain my BA degree in 2009 (I'm probably going to cover a topic on history of the language). I have contributed to Wikipedia, which has given me some experience in cooperative web projects. Apart from my core academic interests, I fancy history (esp. modern history, mainly focused on Eastern Europe) and political science. I am likely to contribute to articles related to the Baltic states or Germany. In addition to Estonian and English I speak German (quite OK) as well as some Russian and French (I occasionally use all the five when surfing on the Internet).

Feel free to drop me a line at erikjesse(at)gmail(dot)com (you can use this link.) I am also developing my web page.
