Chris Weimer is a student majoring in Latin and Greek at the University of Memphis. He is the founder of NeoNostalgia.com, the founder and a frequent contributor of/to Thoughts on Antiquity ( http://neonostalgia.com/weblog), and founder/admin of Ancient Mediterranean Cultures (http://neonostalgia.com/forum ) an academic environment for ancient cultures. He has had seven years of Latin study, five years of Greek, and is also learning Hebrew, Aramaic, Coptic, and is very familiar with a variety of other languages that he's spent learning over the past several years.

Chris Weimer is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. He received his MA in Classics from San Francisco State University in 20011 and his BA in Classical Languages with a minor in Judaic Studies at the University of Memphis in 2009.
