The Jewish Telegraph Agency, headquartered in New York City with a Washington bureau and worldwide correspondents, is a "...is a not-for-profit corporation governed by an independent Board of Directors. It has no allegiance to any specific branch of Judaism or political viewpoint." Formed in 1917 as the Jewish Correspondence Bureau, it provides news to a wide range of outlets.[1]
Mark Joffe is executive editor and publisher. Ami Eden is editor in chief. Ron Kampeas runs the Washington bureau.
