I was born born in 1983 in St-Niklaas, a town near Antwerp and moved to Genk in the east of Belgium when I was twelve. After finishing secondary school (high school). I started studying Germanic Languages (Dutch and German) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. After a year I switched to History at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. I have a bachelor degree in Modern History and am currently in my fourth and final year and should get my Masters degree next january. I am currently writing my master thesis on the immigration from Albania and Kosovo to Belgium. I am specialized in modern socio-economic History. I have a good knowledge of Belgian and Dutch History and European history in general and am looking forward to contributing in these fields. I am also interested in the history and culture of the Balkan region.
