I am Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education in Commack Public Schools (NY) and President of the non-profit, Guild of Internationational Baccalaureate Schools (of the Northeastern US).
I have a BA in Sociology from the Univeristy of Rochester and an MA in Education from Hofstra University. I earned by NY State Administrator’s credential at Long Island University. http://www.commack.k12.ny.us/DO/phones.htm
Originally a high school social studies, history and psychology teacher, I have been a Hofstra/Cablevision Educator of the Month Award recipient, a trainer for the New York State Education Department's Sharing Success Program, has served as a key note speaker and staff developer in numerous school districts in the tri-state area, has been a presenter to the New York State Education Department's Assessment Panel.
