My educational background is somewhat varied.  In grade school I attended Jewish institutions, and though I now consider myself an atheist I became well acquainted with Jewish religious concepts and practice.  I spent a year at the University of Maryland as a computer science major, and worked in software development for a while.  I then transferred to Reed College, where I am now undecided as to my major, although my interests are mostly focused in physics and mathematics.  I also work at Reed's nuclear research reactor.
