Summary

Description Backdropped by a blue and white Earth, a Materials International Space Station Experiment (MISSE) on the exterior of the station is featured in this image photographed by a crewmember during the STS-118 mission's second planned session of extravehicular activity (EVA). MISSE collects information on how different materials weather in the environment of space.
