The Nickel Plate 765 steam engine is a Berkshire 2-8-4 Steam locomotive built by the Lima Locomotive Works. The 765 was built in September 1944. Her last run was on June 14, 1958. The 765 first operated out of Bellvue, Ohio and was later transferred to the Fort Wayne, Indiana rail yard.[1]
