Former student of Classical Civilisation, focusing on political and military history during the period 500 - 300 BCE. First class honours from the University of Glasgow.

Conversion PGDip in Software Development in 2000. Left to form own company, now specialising in Java based portal software.

I maintain an interest in history, ranging from Ancient Greek, Byzantium, the early Medieval period and Celtic history and mythology.
