Europride is an annual celebration convened by members of gay and lesbian communities who live in Europe.

Inaugurated in 1992 in London, the event was held in 2008 in Stockholm and in 2009 is being hosted in Zurich from 2 May - 7 June, with the theme of "Celebrating 40 years with Pride" - a title that references the 1969 Stonewall riots seen as the birthplace of the modern gay rights movement.

Europride is a gay and lesbian event but on every occasion since its inception has sought to engage with all people in local communities to assist with the process of integration between gay and non-gay people.
