My name is Paul Becherer. I am presently a graduate student at the Lorentz Institute for theoretical physics of Leiden University in the Netherlands, working on pattern formation in nonequilibrium systems and fluid dynamics of viscoelastic liquids.
I hold an M.Sc. degree in theoretical physics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and I hope to obtain my Ph.D. degree from Leiden within the next year.
Specific interests, aside from physics, include public transportation (railways), the board game of Go, and science and technology in general.
