I teach English, Journalism, and World History at El Paso Community College, where I have been a full-time instructor since 1991. Prior to that, I worked as a journalist, beginning at City News Bureau of Chicago from 1980-1984. After that I worked as a reporter, then as city editor, for the El Paso Herald-Post. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master's of Science in Journalism in 1980. Prior to that, I got a Master's in history at Southern Illinois University.
