His most successful television endeavor was The Cosby Show, which appeared on NBC from 1984 to 1992. He also created Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids and was a spokesman for products such as Jell-O, Kodak film, Ford, Texas Instruments, and Coca-Cola.
He is an advocate for education and produced education programs for children such as Little Bill and has donated money to universities.
