I'm now hereby dismissing it.  I see no evidence whatsoever of an Odin Brotherhood other than a work of fiction by Mark Mirabello, as well as Geocities websites that he is fairly closely associated with.  Unlike Mr. Mirabello can convince me that reputable researchers (who are not occult authors or publishers) take him and the Odin Brotherhood seriously, I am not inclined to allow CZ to be used as a platform. --[[User:Larry Sanger|Larry Sanger]] 15:15, 19 October 2007 (CDT)

External links within the article

I'm not sure what CZ policy is on this, but this article has a lot of links within it that link to external websites, where they should probably be wikilinks. Were they set this way for a reason? --Todd Coles 21:48, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

I just moved the links here. I'm no expert on religion but are these links the best we can do? Some of this article appears to be plagerised from these links too. This article and its sources don't appear to be up to academic rigor. Do we have a religion editors out there to check through this? Chris Day (talk) 20:02, 18 October 2007 (CDT)
Strike the plagerism, just very similar stuff, on message. Chris Day (talk) 20:07, 18 October 2007 (CDT)

Let's dig, please

Please let's do some more digging here. I don't want to simply dismiss a phenomenon about which I know nothing. But I see some legitimate concerns here. --Larry Sanger 22:44, 18 October 2007 (CDT)

Just to clarify, I'm not dismissing it, just wondering why there are so many geocities links. We should be able to do better. Chris Day (talk) 22:47, 18 October 2007 (CDT)

I'm now hereby dismissing it. I see no evidence whatsoever of an Odin Brotherhood other than a work of fiction by Mark Mirabello, as well as Geocities websites that he is fairly closely associated with. Unless Mr. Mirabello can convince me that reputable researchers (who are not occult authors or publishers) take him and the Odin Brotherhood seriously, I am not inclined to allow CZ to be used as a platform. --Larry Sanger 15:15, 19 October 2007 (CDT)

Odin Brotherhood article in Wikipedia (or lack thereof)

Was discussed at great length in 2006, with a number of lengthy justifications from the author, as a candidate for deletion. It was subsequently deleted. So even the all-inclusive Wikipedia finds it not worthy of inclusion. Hayford Peirce 22:48, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
