Administrative management is responsible for individual training, performance reviews, career planning, etc. Operational management is oriented to the task, not the individual.
The management of a large organisation may have three, or many more levels:
- Senior management (or "top management" or "upper management")
- Middle management
- Low-level management, such as Supervisors and Team leaders; such people are also "working management" who carry out some of the work as well as directing others to perform other parts
