Hmm, from my first few encounters, this place doesn't seem very collegial toward Wikipedia. Doesn't even have interwiki linking set up (like above.) Are the rumors of bad blood a central part of the mentality around here? I think I'll keep looking around for a bit before I start to contribute. Seems there's room for more than one encyclopedia on the Internets, no? | |||

Pete lives in Portland, Oregon, and is committed to improving the Commons. He would like to see the public become more educated and more engaged in determining our collective future, and works tirelessly toward that goal. Much of his work in this arena has been on Wikipedia, where as of late 2007, he has over 6,000 edits under the username wikipedia:User:Peteforsyth.
