Pete is the Public Outreach Officer for the Wikimedia Foundation. He has been an active contributor on the English language Wikipedia since 2006, and has volunteered on a number of other projects in the open content world, including the Open Directory Project, AboutUs.org, Wikisource, Wikinews, and Portland, Oregon's city wiki.
