I was born in Israel in 1978. In high school I studied chemistry and computer programming, and then I did the mandatory 1.5 years military service in the medical screening department of the military recruitment bureau. Later on, I obtained a B.Sc. in life sciences and M.Sc. in biochemistry from the University of Tel Aviv. In 2004 I moved to Switzerland, and currently I am a Ph.D. student in Biochemistry. My main topics of research are signal transduction and metabolism, specifically focusing on obesity and diabetes. I can write about topics in molecular biology, animals and photography. I am fluent in English and Hebrew.
