I was born in 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, but have lived in Florida since 1955. I am a railroad historian, concentrating on Florida and especially in the area around Jacksonville. I have written a railfan's guide to the area and several monographs which have been published in the newsletters of the Southeast Chapter, Railway and Locomotive Historical Society, and the Northeast Florida Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. I have also given presentations with Edward Mueller, author and historian, on Florida railroad history under the sponsorship of the Florida Council for the Humanities. I also draw and paint rail subjects.
