Hi,

My name is Alain van Acker FGA. I'm a native Dutch person who is trained in most aspects of the jewellery trade, including:

• Goldsmithing
• Silversmithing
• Jewellery sales
• Appraising
• Gemmology (sic)

I have a keen interest in computer and webprogramming and serve as the webmaster for several, jewellery related, sites. In 2006 I co-founded the Gemology Project and am currently administrating and editing the new founded Antique Jewelry University, both are citizendium-type projects.
