USS Missouri (BB-63) [r]: U.S. Navy Iowa-class battleship, on whose deck the Japanese surrender was signed; last class of battleships that operated in any navy. She is now a museum ship in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. [e]

USS Missouri (BB-63) (the largest ship) and the battlecruiser USS Alaska (CB-1) (on the other side of the pier) are tied up at Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia circa August 1944.[1]
