Special Troops Battalion [r]: Under the restructuring of the United States Army, a headquarters assigned to each Brigade Combat Team (BCT), which always has Transportation and Signal (i.e., communications) companies, but also controls additional units that provide immediate non-fires, non-logistics support to the BCT.
