Prince Henry, Duke of Sussex (Henry Charles Albert David; born 15th September 1984), usually known as Prince Harry, is sixth in line to the throne of the United Kingdom and other countries. He is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales, as well as grandson of Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Formally His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, Harry was born in London. He was privately educated, but unlike his older brother Prince William he chose not to go to university, instead entering the British Armed Forces. He briefly saw action in the Afghan War, and aside from his military career is also involved in charity work. He was known as Harry Wales during his service as a military officer.

In 2017 his engagement was announced to Meghan Markle, an American humanitarian worker and former actress. On the morning of his wedding, 19th May 2018, he was granted the peerages of Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.
