Michael Clayton is a 2007 legal thriller film directed by Tony Gilroy and starring George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson, and Tilda Swinton. It depicts the experience of Michael Clayton (played by Clooney) the eponymous character and a corporate attorney in a class-action lawsuit against an agricultural conglomerate involved in producing toxic herbicides.
