The Goodies was a surrealistic comedy series similar to Monty Python's Flying Circus, but nominally aimed at children. It was broadcast in 76 episodes by the BBC from 1970 to 1981. The series was written and performed by Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie. Unlike the typical episode of Monty Python, which consisted of unrelated sketches, The Goodies was more or less a situation comedy in which the three central characters offered themselves out for hire, promising to do "Anything, Anytime".
