Berch Berberoglu is Foundation Professor of Sociology, Director of Graduate Studies, Chair of the Department of Sociology, and Director of the Institute for International Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. His research areas are political economy, globalization, development, political sociology, nationalism and ethnonational conflict, class/race/gender, and comparative-historical sociology.
