Umlaut?

Why don't we move this article to Standartenführer? (and the other articles, as well)

It's technically feasible and it would be more correct, orthographically, and it would be in line with our Romanization policy...

I don't mind it as a redirect, but I have deliberately been using a more Anglicized format given that my experience is that the average user, who does not read German, will not know the forms with either the diacritic or dipthong. A very large amount of military history, and I include professional military but not necessarily academic presses, is not orthographically correct. The might not know a Standartenführer from a mad dog...hmmmm....Howard C. Berkowitz 22:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
