Hmmm...before I continue with the subpagination, I'm wondering if this should be at diagnostic test (medical), to distinguish from diagnostics on a computer, say? Or is the first thing one thinks of when one hears "diagnostic test" a medical test? Aleta Curry 15:02, 27 November 2007 (CST)

We can see what others say, but my usual approach is to continue as you are, then when a computer person wants a diagnostic test page, that person can make a disambiguation page and this page becomes something like Diagnostic test (medicine). - Bob (Robert Badgett 15:20, 27 November 2007 (CST))

Introduction

I altered the wording a little. Feel free to revert or edit further. Main point is that tests are not always prompted by symptoms, but sometimes by signs of illness. An example of a sign that is asymptomatic would be a physical diagnosis finding. - Robert Badgett 15:24, 27 November 2007 (CST)
